Skincare Routine

Splash warm water onto your face to open pores, do not dry your face as the warm water will help spread the oil.  Dispense 1 or 2 pumps of the oil cleanser into your hand and massage into the skin. Use smooth circular strokes and let this be a gentle facial massage. Massage for at least a minute or until you are sure that the oil has saturated your skin.   This will also remove make-up very effectively, so there is no need to remove make-up first. You can even leave the oil on the skin for up to 10 minutes for a really deep clean.

Place a clean muslin cloth under hot water until it is completely soaked and quickly wring it out. Open it up and place over your face. This will create steam against the skin to help wipe away any impurities in the skin. Repeat the process if required.  The muslin cloth can be used for gentle exfoliation of the skin.  After cleaning there will be a thin layer of oil on the skin and this is beneficial.

Follow cleansing by spritzing Toner liberally all over the face and neck.  The toner has an amazing cooling and hydrating effect and can be used on its own in the evening in Australia’s hot climate without the serum.

Apply 3 to 4 drops (a little goes a long way) of Face Serum immediately after spritzing as this will help spread the serum evenly in a thin layer over face and neck. The ingredients of the Face Serum pack a powerful punch to reduce the signs of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth as well as hydrate the skin. The Serum also contains a rich natural source of Omega 3 and 6 which assists in skin regeneration. Using the serum will bring better tone to the skin and help with the production of collagen.

It is well recognised that one of the most powerful functions of Vitamin C, is its role in the production of collagen. This protein gives skin its elasticity, as you age, collagen production slows down, and wrinkles begin to form.  Stabilising your skin’s levels of Vitamin C can potentially help to counteract wrinkle formation by increasing collagen production, reduce pigmentation and decrease the appearance of dark spots.

To start off with, apply every second evening after cleansing, onto face and neck.  Use instead of toner and serum on alternate nights.    Use evenings only and wash face in the morning before going out into the sun.  Should you experience any sensitivity, reduce use to every third evening.  If you have sensitive skin, it might take a bit of time for your skin to adjust.
